I'm an independent filmmaker with two feature films and several short films to my credit. My film Unremembered is a multi-award winning film. I'm also a Web Design and Multimedia instructor at Portland Community College Cascade Campus. This Web site promotes and supports my teaching and filmmaking endeavors.
With over 115,000 visitors in 2009 (69,000 of those were unique!), GregKerr.Net is widely traveled and well ranked on Google. I pride myself with having strong marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) skills and the know-how to create relevant links to and from this site.
If you'd like to improve your search engine ranking (search engine optimization), one good way to accomplish this is by getting linked to from other Web sites. If you are in the Pacific Northwest and involved in film or theater, please contact me and feel free to link to my site. If you link to me, I'll link to you!
As a filmmaker, my goal is to produce and promote intelligent, creative projects in the Pacific Northwest that normally would not have mainstream appeal. These projects, both fiction and non-fiction, focus on topics that are unusual, clever and thought-provoking.
As one of the growing independent film and independent digital video production companies in Portland, Oregon, I'm always on the look-out for quality projects for production. I also believe in giving students a chance to become involved with independent film and video production. If you are in Portland or have a high speed Internet connection, I may be able to offer you a chance to demonstrate your skills then advertise your creative talent to a wide audience.
If you live in the Pacific Northwest and would like to get involved in independent filmmaking with me, please let me know. I'm looking for volunteers and paid talent in the following areas:
If you are volunteering on a project for me, I will cover reasonable expenses for gas and materials, in addition to picking up lunch every now and again. I will also provide references and recommendations for quality assistance!
If you are involved in or an enthusiast of film or theater, friend me on Facebook (Greg Kerr in Portland Oregon), follow me on Twitter, or link with me on LinkedIn. I always enjoy learning more about what people are doing or watching and increasing my cultural awareness!
I'm currently beginning pre-production on a new and large-scale project -- more information will be provided soon. If you'd like to donate to Greg Kerr Productions or invest in a project, please click here. (link)
If you are a Pacific Northwest indie filmmaker (and I mean REALLY indie filmmaker -- you know who you are!) and you have an independent film or video you'd like to advertise, let me know. If I have space on my homepage, I'll consider it for a link or possibly a news item -- no charge!
